Hi I'm Thomas

I am from New Mexico, I am a farm store clerk, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in New Mexico, and am now living in Utah. So by nature I love the West and everything about it. I love the outdoors and spending time surrounded by God's creations. Hiking, fishing, you name it if it is outside I probably do it. I just finished my first semester at BYU. Now I am headed to serve a mission in Paris France.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been fortunate enough to be raised in a home where the Gospel of Jesus Christ is taught everyday and is the focus of our home. But, just because I was raised in such a home doesn't mean I was born with a testimony of the Gospel. Sure it helped a lot, but ultimately my testimony had to be acquired by me and me alone. I remember when I was little and trying to gain a sure knowledge of the gospel a certain phrase form Malachi would always come to mind "Prove me now here with, sayeth the Lord of Hosts." I took this very literally and obey the commandments with the promise that blessings would come. I testify that they have come and are still coming. I have gained a sure testimony and know that this is the true Church and the full Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Early last year I was called to serve in my ward as the Choir Director. I had never been in a choir before, so as you can imagine getting started was difficult. Now I love every minute of choir and recognize how music can increase our spirituality. I am a pianist and often play in church. I enjoy home teaching and sharing my testimony with the families in my neighborhood.
