Hi I'm Jerron Batts

I am an Idaho boy. I am into athletics. I am a current missionary, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving a mission in the Massachusetts Boston Mission. I am the oldest of four children in my family, therefore being the first to serve a mission. I am into athletic sports, mainly football, and that is what I plan on doing in college, is playing football. Where I will go for school, I haven't a clue. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, and I enjoy the simple, memorable things in life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I was born and raised into the LDS church. I am not still active in the church because I am forced to however, but instead, I remain a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I have developed my own testimony, or belief, of its truthfulness. I have come to know that the church is true from receiving answers to my prayers about the subject. I have come to realize the blessings that I obtain by our loving Heavenly Father. I know that the gospel has been restored on the earth today through Joseph Smith, and I am truly grateful to have the gospel in my life and to know the great plan that has been prepared for me. For these reasons, as well as many other reasons, I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing what I know to be true. For example, I am currently out in the mission field, because I know that the gospel is what we need to have in our lives, and I am trying to do all I can to help others realize that as well. I also live my faith by continual study of the scriptures, and frequent prayer. I strive to do all I can so that I may come closer and closer to Christ everyday.
