Hi I'm AnneMarie

California is my home. I have a love for the outdoors. I have been called to serve as a missionary in Korea. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have grown up all over the United States, due to my fathers job. Traveling and moving around with my family has become something I really love. Having grown up as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I have been blessed to have a congregations and family no matter where I live. I am currently enrolled as a full-time student where I have been attending for the passed couple of years. I have recently been called as a missionary for my church to serve in Korea for a period of 18 months. I look forward to building up the church in Korea to provide a similar sense of family that I hold so dear to me.

Why I am a Mormon

All members and converts reach a point in their lives where they become converted to the gospel of Jesus Christ. For me it was last summer. I've always had a testimony and faith in God and His son Jesus Christ, however I didn't follow their perfect example and was a little discouraged by mistakes I had made. It wasn't until I was sitting in a congregation listening to a young lady give a talk about fitting in after feeling broken and alone. She explained a concept of mending Japanese pottery. It is called Kintsugi. The process uses powdered gold to fix broken or cracked art. Not only is it mended but it then becomes more beautiful and desirable than it ever was before. We are works of art created by our Father in Heaven. He provides us with the atonement where he mends and fixes us. We grow and become more beautiful with every resolved mistake in our life. My process of growing and improving has molded me into who I am today. I am grateful for my trials and my experiences that have made me stronger and are preparing me for the mission I have been called to serve. I want to share what I have learned to help all those who might feel broken or misshapen. God has a perfect plan for us to be happy. I have a very strong testimony of that. I am grateful for the restored gospel and the hope it provides. I am grateful for eternal families and the binding power of our covenants. I am grateful for my Savior who died for our sins so that I may repent and become whole and perfect again.

How I live my faith

My stewardship and callings have consisted of supporting roles. As a detail oriented person I have been in positions to help and make things happen. My participation helps me to stay involved in my congregation and in tune with those in need. Being the helping hands in The Lords hands as well as my local leaders has been very rewarding and fulfilling.
