Hi I'm Zac

I was born in Utah. I'm currently serving a mission in Tampa, Florida. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm a paintballer, have been for a good 8 years, I play the guitar and love music. I'm right now serving in Florida on a mission. My greatest accomplishments I'd say are graduating from high school and being worthy enough to serve a mission. I'm a big gamer, I like to think that video games are my passion, not games like Call of Duty, but games like sonic the hedgehog, Mario, and Legend of Zelda: which is my favorite.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, though it took a good 17 years to actually become part of it. It wasn't that I wasn't worthy or anything, I just went through the motions, and when it was time to start thinking about a mission; I was deciding against it. But then an incident happened, because of my great grandmother's lack of love for her daughter, My most beloved Grandmother died prematurely due to lung cancer. That incident shook me, I was 15 at the time so I had a great grasp on death. I had even more understanding thanks to my mother, who had lost her own. She said my grandmother is in a better place and that we'll see her soon. I then read up on the spirit world, the plan of salvation, and various other principles on life after death. I found that one of the ways I could see my grandmother again is serving a mission, and so here I am, attempting to save those who didn't know they needed saving. That is why I am a Mormon

How I live my faith

Right now, I have been called to serve a mission. My goal is to baptize and convert as many people as I can to this church... the true church. To do this, I study my scriptures daily, pray at least six times a day, and teach those who will listen about the true and restored gospel.

Why is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints called Mormons or Mormonism?

Well, when the church was organized and started sometime in the year 1830 a good ten years after Joseph had that wonderful first vision, the Book of Mormon was printed and many people who prosecuted the church know us by the book that was printed. Mormon is actually a prophet from the Book of Mormon, he abridged or simplified most of the doctrines that was in the Book of Mormon. So naturally people associated the church by the book that it printed. The real name of the church is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Show more Show less
