Hi I'm Chase

I lived in North Carolina most of my life, but I am now living in Utah while attending BYU. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am going to BYU and am studying in Civil Engineering. When I'm not doing school work I am doing Air Force ROTC activities. In my rare free time, I like to play guitar, lacrosse, and generally just stay healthy!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church my entire life, but like many others I have had my own struggles. My true conversion to the church wasn't until my high school years when I began to study the scriptures myself. As I looked deeper into the church and explored the LDS church as well as others, I discovered my testimony and expanded my faith.

How I live my faith

At BYU, I take a religion course where I am always learning new things about the church and building my testimony.

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

Our body is a gift from God, and as such we believe that it should be treated as a gift. We believe that we should keep our bodies healthy and clean, as well as avoiding any degrading substance such as tobacco, alcohol, coffee, and illegal drugs. By following "the Word of Wisdom," as this commandment is called, we will receive physical and spiritual blessing from God. Show more Show less
