Hi I'm Parker

I grew up in Idaho. I love the outdoors, I'm currently serving a mission in Indianapolis, Indiana, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently serving a Mission for the Church in Indiana. I grew up in Idaho doing all sorts of fun stuff, I love the outdoors and anything that has a motor in it or moves really fast. One of my favorite things to do is go riding four wheelers. I really enjoy building and working with my hands. During high school I took courses like Auto and Welding class and spent a lot of time with my friends. After high school I went to BYU-I for a semester and while attending school our Prophet announced that young men could now serve missions at the age of 18 so I started preparing to serve and now, here I am!

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ because I know that it is the true Gospel as Christ taught it in the Bible. I know that it is lead by a Prophet of God and that the principles of the Gospel do bring me closer to both my Savior and my Heavenly Father. I have come to know this as I have studied the Book of Mormon, attended church meetings and the Temple, and prayed to my Father in Heaven. I also love the emphasis the Church has on families as this if very dear to me and helps me build my faith in the Gospel.

How I live my faith

The best way I think I live my faith is by being as good of a friend to as many people as I can. I really enjoy seeing the difference you can make in others lives with simple acts of kindness. Another way I brighten others' day is by letting them know how much I appreciate them and letting them know how valuable their friendship is to me. I also chose to live my faith by serving an honorable full time mission for the church, this is a wonderful opportunity for me to help others come closer to Christ.
