Hi I'm Donald

I'm kind of a nerd, I think I'm kind of funny, I love the Rocky Mountains of Idaho, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest out four siblings, an older brother, and two sisters. I am now 19 years old and a High School graduate. During school I was involved with sports as little as I could, although I am a San Francisco 49ers fan. Instead of being on a field, you would usually find me on the stage, over the last 6 years or so, I have become as familiar with the town's local theater as well as I know my own home. I've become somewhat of a small town celebrity for playing the Genie in our high school's production of Aladdin. (and I really mean somewhat, it's a small town and not everyone knows who I am but periodicity I am stopped in the grocery store, or people recognize me at work and say something like "hey weren't you the Genie, but It's a small town.) Also I am some what of a Nerd, I love most things nerdy like Star Wars, Dr.Who, Marvel D.C., and all the good stuff. With the help of one my Role models and teaches I established a Comic Book Club at my high School, and was it's first president. (which I can't really use to impress girls.) I am now preparing to be a missionary (one of those guys wearing a suit that knocks on people's door) in Lemia Peru' and trying to learn Spanish. After I get home I am thinking about earning a business degree or becoming a teacher of some kind.

Why I am a Mormon

My mother converted from the Catholic faith when she was a young single adult, and later married an LDS man. So yes I was born into the Mormon religion, but because of certain circumstances, my mother was remarried a man who was not LDS, nor the man he seemed to be when she had married him, and at a young age I started to question the Mormon religion. I know what it feels like to feel the emptiness or the void in your soul when you haven't accepted the gospel. I have seen how having the gospel held in the home and held in the heart can bring light in the darkest places. So I am a Mormon because I know it is truth and the happiness it brings is just proof.

How I live my faith

I am lucky to live in a somewhat large LDS community, but my main hobby in high school was acting, which tends to attract a certain group of people that do not hold the same standers as the church upholds. During the times of a production I held true to the standers which I believe in. It could have been easy to make lude comments or jokes, and no one would think less of me, but I choose to maintain the behavior that I have been taught to display. l now work at a fast food restaurant for the time being, and like then I have people watching me and sometime I can feel the pressure but I always try to live the gospel to it's fullest.
