Hi I'm Braya

I am currently living in Edmonton with my wonderful husband. I attend MacEwan University. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am in the Speech and Language Pathology Assistant program at Grant MacEwan University, and I am graduating in the spring. One of my interests is music. I love music, and my favorite instrument to play is the ukulele. I also love children, chocolate, summer time, and most of all I love spending time with my husband.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon because I have been taught that I am a daughter of God and that God hears and answers my prayers, and also that I have an older brother, Jesus Christ, who atoned for my sins, and all of our sins, so that we can someday live with God again, and I know this to be true. I also know that I am sealed to my wonderful husband for time and all eternity, not just until death do you part. I can have him forever as long as we keep our covenants that we made with God, and this means the world to me. I also know that the scriptures that we have been given, the Book of Mormon and the Bible, are true, and that they are the word of God, and that we still receive the word of God through living Prophets and Apostles.

How I live my faith

I love living my faith and I love the calling that I currently do. I am working with the young women in my ward who are from the ages of 12-18, but I am predominantly over the 12-13 year olds. We have a lot of fun together learning about the gospel, and just learning in general. We spend an hour of our meetings on Sundays together, and an hour and a half on Wednesdays doing an activity that the girls planned. It is a great time for the girls, and us as leaders, to learn and grow together as well as have good, clean, wholesome fun.
