Hi I'm Stephen

I live in Edmonton with my beautiful wife and am a student at the University of Alberta. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently attending the University of Alberta School of Business. I expect to graduate in the Spring and enter law school in the Fall. I was married to my beautiful wife in August of last year. I love to play sports, read books and spend time with my wife.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have been able to find such happiness through the programs and teachings I have received through the church. It is guided and directed by a living prophet of God, who regularly speaks to world on matters concerning our well-being. It is full of warm, friendly people who have supported me throughout my life. Most of all, however, I am a Mormon because I wish to worship my Saviour, Jesus Christ, and follow His example. I have received many blessings throughout my life, many of which have come through others within the church, and as a result of the opportunities of service I have had. I have sought answers to many questions regarding God and what He expects of me. I know He lives and that He hears and answers our prayers. He has answered mine, and I have come to know for myself that He loves His children. I am grateful for the privilege of being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

My religion has been a very important part of my life. It has given me strength and direction throughout the various challenges and opportunities I have had. I am grateful for the example provided to us by the Saviour, Jesus Christ, who showed us how to live, how to serve others, and how to find true happiness. I love Him and love learning about Him and His teachings from the scriptures. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has helped me be a better son, brother, husband and person, and by attending church meetings I have learned how to draw closer to my Heavenly Father.
