Hi I'm Rashauna

I love the outdoors, I'm mostly vegan, I enjoy any and all art projects, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an adventurer. I love to explore new places, people, activities, food, etc. I love to spend time with my family, get lost in an art project, or just getting outside always makes me happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because it is Christ's complete gospel. The more I learn, the more I know it's true through the way I've felt and the experiences I've had. It is incredible to know I have a Father in Heaven who loves me individually. Nothing in this life has brought me so much peace as has developing my relationship with God and learning how to trust Him more. He is always there for me to turn to. I know that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever and that there is a prophet on the earth today, who helps me continue to develop my personal relationship with Christ. I am a Mormon because this gospel, the church Christ organized anciently, the church that Christ restored modernly, is a catalyst for developing faith, peace, and lasting happiness.

How I live my faith

Through personal scripture study and attending church each Sunday, I am able to learn more about how powerful Jesus Christ's example was and still is. I strive to emulate his positive influence by living church standards that I know to be true and taking advantage of service opportunities that come my way. President David O. McKay said, "True happiness comes only by making others happy." I have found the lasting joy and friendship that is generated from helping someone else, even if in just a small way. I feel privileged to be a member of such an altruistic organization that is centered around service. Every day I try to be more like Christ. I fall short of my goal more often than I'd like to admit. However, I know that He loves me still and through Him, I am given the strength to try again tomorrow.
