Hi I'm Bronte

I teach Ballet. I love Van Gogh and Art History, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a person who loves trying many new things all at once! I study Art History in college and want to pursue my PH.D in 19th century visual art and dance. I can talk for hours and hours about Vincent Van Gogh, or John Sargent. I ran my first marathon this year and it was so much harder than I thought it would be, but it was incredibly rewarding too. When I'm not dancing or obsessing about art, I love to read. Ford Madox Ford, John Steinbeck and Edith Wharton are my favorites!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to be true. I know that Joseph Smith was the prophet responsible for restoring the gospel of Jesus Christ to the earth and that we can come closer to God by following it's teachings than by any other method. I know the Book of Mormon to be the word of God and know that it is more than just a doctrinal lesson, it is a record of an ancient people that really existed. I am a Mormon because the gospel makes my life brighter and more filled with joy. Because of the gospel, I know where I have been, why I am here, and where I am going.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through following Christ's example; charity and love towards all others. I think it can be hard sometimes to remember that everyone you meet is struggling or needs help in some way. The gospel teaches me how I can help my fellow man, and become a better version of myself in the process.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

No, Mormons are not required to serve a mission. However, if a person is truly converted to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, they will want to spread the good news! They will want to share the truths of the gospel with others. Show more Show less
