Hi I'm Austin

I've grown up and lived in New Mexico, Utah, and Alaska. I love to read. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the cold weather. I love the snow. I come from a divorced family. I love My mom, my dad, and my step mom. I recently graduated from High School. When I was younger I moved around a lot. I went to 5 different elementary schools. I also went to two different High Schools. One here in Utah and the other up in Alaska. I love to play soccer, and I can never have too much pizza. Give me a good book to read and I will have it done within the week. I'm and eagle scout, took me a while to get it, I finally got all the paper work done the week of my 18th birthday. I love life, even when everything seems to work against me, I find a reason to smile.

Why I am a Mormon

When my parents divorced, my world had pretty much collapsed. I remember how horrible and sad all of us kids felt, there was five of us. I could not come to terms with what had happened. I grew up in a Mormon family. We would always read scriptures and said prays together. My parents would teach us of their belief. A few years after their divorce, I remember feeling a peace. That there is good that has come from it. I have an amazing step mom, and I love all of my step siblings, I even now have the sweetest 5 year old half sister. I know that that peace I felt came from God. Another time I felt this peace so strongly was as I read the book of Mormon. I had just finished it for the first time. I did as many have done. I knelt down on my knees and I prayed. I asked God to know weather or not the Book of Mormon was true. this amazing feeling came over me, this peace, this surety that there is no book on earth more true than the Book of Mormon. I love God and all that he has done for me. I know we are given trials to make us stronger. I know that I can find Happiness and Joy from listening and doing what he asks me to do. I am grateful for the Mormon church, and the Help they have always given my family. I truly am Happy, to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I push snow for my dad, I don't get paid, he needs the help, and so does my family. He runs a small snow plow business that helps us get by. I always remember my God. I'm always thankful for the blessings he gives me. that I have a mind that can think and understand. that I can have a loving family. That is one reason why I can always find a reason to smile. I know That God loves me and knows me personally. He wants me and, well everyone to be happy. I go to church every week, I get this feeling that it's the place I need to be and I learn so much. I do my best to help others in need, If someone is stranded on the side of the road I like to be the one to offer them a helping hand. I try my best to help others be happy.

In whom should we have faith?

Austin
We must have faith in Jesus Christ. Meaning that we trust him, and know he is there for us, and helping us through our hardships. Having faith in Christ also means being willing to act on his teachings. Show more Show less
