Hi I'm Tyler

Raised in California, love sports, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play and watch sports, my favorite sport is soccer. I've played on soccer, basketball, baseball, swimming and track teams. I watch and follow too many sports: college and pro football, college and pro basketball, soccer, tennis, golf. I enjoy hanging out with friends, listening to music, playing video games, and watching tv and movies. My favorite subject growing up was math, and I'm currently a Computer Science major. I have 3 amazing older sisters.

Why I am a Mormon

I've seen the Church make a positive impact in my life, and I've been able to make a positive impact on the life of others because of the standards the Church helped instill in me. The Church has helped me mature in individuality, and in confidence that I can overcome any obstacle set in my path. I've made friends in the Church who have also helped me grow. My love for them and the Savior have led me to make decisions to put others before myself, and the gospel has helped me become happier and more at peace with the mistakes I've made in my past. I love the Church and am doing my best to bring its happiness to others. I know that anyone can do the same as I did and ask our Heavenly Father in prayer if this is His church. Because God loves His children, He will answer their prayers as He did mine.

How I live my faith

I look for opportunities to serve and help others, and I try to be the best example I can of true christianity and Christlike love. I strive to be the kind of friend I would want in others and to be the change I want to see in the world. I study and look to emulate the attributes of Christ which he demonstrated and taught in his life, especially faith, humility, love and charity. My personal goals focus on not only understanding and believing but also in applying and living the doctrines of Christ, and they have led me to a happier, more fulfilling lifestyle. I'm currently serving as a representative of the Lord on a full-time mission in Argentina in the area of Cuyo - provinces San Juan, San Luis and Mendoza. As a missionary, I preach the gospel and help people to come to enjoy the fullness of blessings and joy that come with living the principles of the gospel. The more I dedicate myself to and serve those around me, the more joy and self-satisfaction I find in my personal life. The Lord asks much of us, but what He asks is incomparably little in comparison to the blessings and happiness we receive in exchange.
