Hi I'm Brandon

I am a proud red head, I was a missionary in the Georgia Atlanta North mission, I love to make others laugh, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I was born in California but lived most of my life all over the United States because of my dad's medical schooling. I grew up in a large family with six kids and two loving parents. We have had several pets in our family and currently have two energetic, little dogs. I started Cub Scouts when I was little and am now a proud Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America. I love hanging out with my friends as well as reading good books, creating and building things, and playing a good video game then and now. I also enjoy the outdoors! One more thing that I would add is that I love making people laugh. I love making and telling the cheesiest jokes and puns as well as just being all around goofy sometimes! Like I said before, I love to enjoy life! One of the best parts is being able to look back and laugh at past experiences, the bad and the good.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed enough to be born into a strong Mormon home. Of course, children follow in parents footsteps, but there always comes a time to figure things out for oneself. To know if a seed is good you just have to plant it and see if it grows. Good seeds bring good fruit. Bad seeds don't. Throughout my life I have seen the fruit of this 'Mormon seed' that was planted long ago and for that I am still here. My values, my standards, my goals, and my dreams all come from the truth of the teachings that we as Mormons cling to. I know who I am. I know God's Plan for His children. I may not have a perfect knowledge of things but that's why God has asked us to have Faith. God is my Father and He is a real, physical, glorified and perfect Father with whom I can have a personal relationship with. For all of that and more I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my Faith by learning more about and trying to be more like my Savior Jesus Christ and my Father in Heaven. I served as a full-time missionary in the northern cities of Georgia from 2013-2015. In Spanish too! My service work then was to invite everyone to come learn more about why they were born on this earth, what they can now do about it, and especially how Jesus Christ fits as the center piece of all of it. I also believe I live my faith by brightening the lives of others as we all take this journey together. Who couldn't use an extra smile or a laugh to get them through the day?

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

The purpose of missionaries is to invite others to learn more about their Savior Jesus Christ and how He plays a crucial role in the Plan our Heavenly Father has for us. Their job really is to remind us all about where we came from, why we are here, where we are going, and how to get their safely. I say 'remind' because we have all heard this before. Though for now we can't remember where we came from, the Spirit mixed with the missionaries words can guide us to follow the Plan we have all already accepted. Show more Show less
