Hi I'm Sterling

I am a Wyoming country boy, a swimmer, and a missionary. I love to Backpack in mountains, and eat food. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love backpacking in the mountains. I love being around nature. I also love to swim. I am a son. I have climbed to the top of to different peaks in Wyoming. I love to read fantasy books. I love to eat just about anything and trying new foods.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because Jesus Christ and the knowledge of the atonement has made a huge affect on my life. I know that the Savior made me clean from all my sin. Without Jesus I would have no chance to live with my Heavenly Father again. The knowledge of Jesus Christ and the Plan of Salvation has helped me to live more righteously and experience the joy that comes from being clean from sin and having the guilt of sin taken off me. I also know the Book of Mormon is true. Ever since I got the witness from the Holy Ghost, I have seen a great impact in my life from reading from the Book of Mormon daily. It always lifts me up and teaches me something new I didn't know or understand. I also know that families can be together forever, and I know the priesthood power that makes this possible has been restored and is found only in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I know this priesthood makes all saving ordinances possible

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving a full-time mission for the church.

To what do you attribute the growth of the Church?

Missionary work, the Book of Mormon, and the peace the gospel brings. Missionary work brings the gospel to people, but a witness from the Holy Ghost causes people to know that the church is true, that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God, that the priesthood is restored, and that all revelation from Modern day prophets is true. Also the peace it brings causes people to want to keep the joy and peace the gospel brings. Show more Show less
