Hi I'm Raleigh Wright, III

I was born and live in North Carolina. I grew up in a Southern Baptist church and joined the Mormon church in 1990.

About Me

I am a dentist. Am married and have 4 children - 3 girls and a boy. I went to college and dental school at UNC-Chapel Hill. I enjoy spending time with my family and playing golf. I like all kinds of animals and have several pets- guinea pig, chinchilla, blue quaker parrot, dachshund, and a new beagle puppy.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the LDS church in 1990 after being introduced by Sister Robin Ritch and several of her companions over several months of study. After seeking a personal testimony of the gospel - through prayer and personal study- I felt strongly that the story and history of the Book of Mormon was indeed true. Through the past 20+ years I have had many opportunities to confirm my beliefs and strengthen my personal testimony of the truthfulness and blessings of the restored gospel.

How I live my faith

I am currently second counselor in the Pittsboro Branch Presidency. I really like being in the branch here - everyone is so nice and friendly. I really feel strongly that having our family and children active in the church helps us be a stronger family and serving others gives us blessings every day.
