Hi I'm Carson

I'm a college student from Washington. I enjoy spending time outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Washington, and I'm currently a college student. I'm an avid sports fan, and sometimes I have to remind myself that there is more to life than supporting my teams' seemingly futile attempts to win elusive championships. I'm happiest when I'm spending time with my family, whether we're eating, playing, or simply enjoying each other's company. I also love spending time outdoors hiking, backpacking, fishing, or almost any other form of outdoor recreation. There is something special about observing the work of God's hand in nature, and I hope to be able to continue doing so for the rest of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints answers life's essential questions. Because I have the gospel in my life, I'm not lost. I know that I have a Father in Heaven who loves me, and wants what's best for me. Through Jesus Christ's atoning sacrifice I know that, with my family, I can live with God again.

How I live my faith

I am grateful for the opportunity that I have to attend church every Sunday, and I always find that I get out of my church meetings exactly what I put into them. If my thoughts are constantly on my schoolwork or the stresses of the upcoming week, then the church meetings seem long, boring, and tedious. If I participate and am attentive, then I feel the Spirit, learn and grow in that three hour period.
