Hi I'm Nathan

I have a passion for learning how things work and problem solving, I'm an avid outdoorsman and I'm a Mormon

About Me

From the time I entered this world I have been a Mormon, I was raised in a wonderful family with 4 siblings. I am the youngest and last at home. As I have grown up in the church, I have the first hand foundation of the gospel in my life and for that I'm forever grateful. I have a passion for learning how things work and I plan to major in engineering after my mission. I love the outdoors, being in God's creation just feels so peaceful and like you can just talk to God easier. I love to serve, it was my goal to become an Eagle Scout and in so doing an huge service project I accomplished that desire. However, I learned a valuable lesson from my leaders. You don't just get the Eagle Award and your done. Once an Eagle Scout always an Eagle Scout. That principle is a huge reason while I will strive to be a man of character all my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the gospel has made my life a brighter and better place. I don't know where I would be without it. From the time of my birth to now it has helped me in so many ways. Through the Priesthood, I was healed from a tumorus disease as a baby. That alone has been a foundation and testimony of faith all my life. To know that God healed me from a horrible disease because he has a different plan in mind for me is just amazing. Also as years have gone on I have had struggles and without the Gospel and without God, those trials would have destroyed me. However, I turned to God in those times and to the church leaders and they helped me through every single one. The church cares about each individual like they are your closest family and they will love you unconditionally and want you to be happy. That is why I'm a Mormon

How I live my faith

I actively answer questions my friends and coworkers have about my faith, I stand as an example of a member of the Church at all times. I stand up and defend my religion when necessary. I have found that people who are members of the church often think our actions aren't noticed however, the opposite is true. People outside the church watch us, we are different. They see us as to have a certain light about us. We have to be living the standards of the church at all times so that we can set a good image for the church and bring others the happiness we have.
