Hi I'm William Black

I grew up in North Hollywood, C.A. Currently I'm a student at BYU-Idaho. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm study Business Management with an emphasis in Finance. I love playing the guitar and going to the beach. I'm half El Salvadorian. I do speak Spanish. I served my mission in New York, New York South Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have a testimony that I believe that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church. I also have testimony that we do have prophets today. I know that God does live and so does His son, Jesus Christ, God's gospel which has been restored in these latter days, can bless our lives if we live by it's principles. Happiness is found through obedience to God's commandments. We can be cleanse of our sins and regrets through the Atonement of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

The way I've served my ward is through callings I've been given and home teaching assignments. Home teaching is when members of the church have the opportunity to look after and teach members or maybe even people who are not of our faith. I have learned that home teaching is an important and sacred calling given to LDS men. Through home teaching, it can help others come closer to God. I've learn that when you serve others, you serve God.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

William Black
A testimony is a firm belief you get from the Spirit witnessing to you truths of the gospel. Any questions regarding church or commandments you can ask God and the Holy Ghost will witness the truth of these things if you ask with faith and real intent. Show more Show less
