Hi I'm Judi

I have been a Mormon since Nov. 2012.

About Me

I currently work in Administration at a Medical Clinic. My husband and I have been married for 22 years, we have not been blessed with children. I really love animals, especially dogs. I am a motorcycle rider and own a HD Cross Bones. For fun and exercise, I do Egyptian style belly dancing.

Why I am a Mormon

HOW THE BOOK OF MORMON BROUGHT ME TO CHRIST The story of my conversion to the gospel began on June 29/12. One of my beloved dogs got deathly ill and was not expected to survive the night. That evening, I prayed to Heavenly Father (I hadn't prayed in 15 years) that if my dog survived, I would start attending church with my husband. My dog made a full recovery and I attended my first church service on July 1/12. Heavenly Father had answered my prayer. During the Minnesota Mission missionaries visits, I learned that Heavenly Father wanted to hear from us and that he answered prayers in different ways. On Oct. 10/12, I prayed to Heavenly Father and asked for a sign to help me make my decision to be baptized. On Oct. 11/12, I was reading the Doctrine & Covenants and had only a few minutes left before my favourite TV show started so I decided to go to the Index and look up baptism. Finding a long list of references and knowing that I didn't have time before my show started to read them all, I was inspired to go to Alma 5:62 where part of the scripture read: ...I speak by way of invitation saying: come and be baptized unto repentance, that ye also may be par takers of the fruit of the tree of life. This was the sign I had prayed for the night before, Heavenly Father had answered my prayer. I was baptized on Nov. 17/12. Prayer brought me back to our Heavenly Father and our Saviour brought meaning to my mortal existence. I truly believe in the Book of Mormon and will continue to be inspired by it. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday for 3 hours and look forward to it every week. I am a volunteer with our local Hospice Program.
