Hi I'm David

I live in Northern VT. I love the outdoors, I am thankful for my family, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, I am David. I am 15 years old. I have a big and constantly growing family. I love hiking, swiming, fishing, skiing, riding motorcycles, snowmobiles, and fourwheelers. One of my favorite hobbies is making maple syrup. I work part-time for my dad who owns a property service buisness, doing things like, mowing lawns, trimming hedges, plowing and shoveling away the sometimes very large amounts of snow. I make a great attempt at playing the guitar. I really like kites. My current favorite is one that I bought this year. It's a nine footer with a camera attachment on it. Videos from its view are incredible. I am so grateful for the blessing of having a working physical body that allows me to do all these things.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that had already joined this church, so you'd think that I wouldn't know any different but, I have studied other beliefs in school, and in hearing different ideas from people that I have visited with the the missionaries. I am happy for each and every one who has found God in their lives. I have found God in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter - Day Saints. I know it is the fully restored Gospel. This church is where God wants me to be. I fully believe every aspect it teaches and try to apply them to my life. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter - Day Saints focuses a lot on families. Without our relationships with family, close friends, and our Savior, what do we really have? This church teaches us to strive to reach our full potentials. The gospel and this church has blessed me in many ways, and can bless you to. I am happy because I am a member of this church.

How I live my faith

I have been going to church ever since I was born. I have barely put a drop in the bucket as far as obsorbing the knowlegde and blessings of the gospel. Some of the things I learn while at chruch are about Jesus Christ's life and why He came to this earth, about our loving Heavenly Father and what He has in store for us, about scriptorial doctrine, and other means of uplifting principles taught by prophets, church leaders etc. I strive everyday to apply these things that I learn to my personal life, and also try to share them with people around me. I strive to be healthy, physically and spiritually. The church has given guidlines to help keep us close to our loving Heavenly Father. which I am so grateful for. The blessings that will come from living in harmony with these guidlines are countless. I love what my church has done for me. The church has helped me excede my personal goals. The world we live in can be extremely hard to face without God. God cares about each and every one of us individually. I am thankful for the opportunity I have to be a member of my church.
