Hi I'm Samantha

I'm a book nerd. I love social media. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 20-something year old college student studying public relations. I love media and technology, especially social media. I collect postcards and constantly feel the need to paint my nails. I have a slight obsession with TV crime shows and can watch them for hours. I love big cities and dream of doing PR for some big company in NYC.

Why I am a Mormon

I know without a doubt that this is the true church of Christ. There have been several times in my life when my faith has been tested by various trials but they have only strengthened my faith in the gospel. General Conference is my favorite church event because we are able to hear directly from the prophet and other church leaders. I know that Jesus Christ atoned for our sins and because of that, we are able to live with God again if we only follow his commandments. God knows each and every one of us individually and understands what we need in our lives. It is through His guidance that I have been able to make it this far in life. I know that if I stay close to Him and live His gospel, I will be blessed.

How I live my faith

I grew up in the church and was baptized when I was 8 years old. Going to church was never an option and was only something you were able to skip if you were sick. As a youth, I was played the organ for the congregation and the piano for the choir. I also served as the president of my youth group. When I moved out, my faith was tested when I was suddenly given the choice over whether I would go to church meetings or not. I currently attend a singles ward which I enjoy because all church meetings and activities are with others my same age.
