Hi I'm Kimberly

I was born and raised in Utah. I play and teach piano. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've lived in Utah since I was born, but I love to travel. I love learning about new cultures and ways of life. I've played piano since I was eight, and I love it. I love the music and the way it makes me feel. A few years ago I started teaching my own beginning students the piano and it's been an amazing learning experience for me as I've been able to learn and grow right along with my students. I'm currently attending college away from home, but I enjoy going home to see my family often.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the gospel of Christ. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me so much. He knows everything about me and loves me anyway. He sent Christ to us so that we would have an example of the people that we should be. His Atonement is the ultimate sacrifice that Christ suffered for all of us. It is the only way that we can be eternally happy. It is because of Him that we can be with our families forever. It is because of Him that we can have a real "Happily Ever After". Christ is my best friend. He knows exactly how I feel and what I'm going through, unlike anybody else. I believe in the power of prayer. It brings a sense of comfort and peace to me every time I pray. God is always listening. He answers prayers. Of course, I've had my fair share of times when I didn't feel like I had received an answer, but that's because God answers whenever and however is best, even if we may not think it's best. We just have to have faith and trust in Him. The Book of Mormon is true. Joseph Smith was visited by God and Jesus Christ and he was eventually given the golden plates and translated them to the Book of Mormon. He restored the true gospel of Christ on the earth. When he died, we did not lose the prophet. We have a living prophet on the earth today who is able to be a messenger to us from God. He has the power of revelation as it pertains to everybody on the earth, and it is so important that we listen. I believe that the gospel of Christ has been restored on the earth. Jesus Christ does live. He died for us so that we could live again, both physically and spiritually. We must gain a faith in Christ, repent, be baptized, receive the Holy Ghost, and endure to the end so that we can have eternal joy. Our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ want that so badly for us because they love us more than we can imagine.

How I live my faith

I love my church. I've been put in charge of a lot of activities for the youth. This involved a lot of planning, but mostly just getting to know the needs of those around me and learning how to best serve them. I've done other service for some of the elderly people that live near me. Soon, I will be going on a full time mission to serve and teach people in another part of the world.
