Hi I'm Colton Scott

I'm a Mormon missionary!

About Me

I recently graduated with an Associates Degree from an LDS Church school. I love riding horses, camping, playing piano, and reading good books. I love to run, bicycle, and play ultimate frisbee. I like to make movies with my brothers and enjoy doing fun and unique things. I come from a large family and was home-educated. I love my family so very much. They are the best thing in the world to me. I couldn't live without them. I just love good food!

Why I am a Mormon

I know without a doubt that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true church restored once again on the earth by Jesus Christ. It is His church and I follow Him as a devoted Christian. I know this church is true because I have prayed about it and felt the Spirit testify of its truth. It brings me great happiness to know that we have a loving Father in heaven who cares for us. We have a Savior who died for us that we may both live again and become cleansed from our sins. I have the hope and assurance that my life has a purpose, a meaning. I am not on earth merely trying to live each day as pleasurably as possible. Rather, I am here to be tested, to accept Jesus Christ, to help others accept Him, and to grow closer to Heavenly Father. The gospel is all about love and helping people find true, lasting joy.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a full-time missionary for two years in Scotland and Ireland. As such, I have regular opportunities to teach others about my faith and my testimony of the gospel. My purpose is to invite others to come unto Christ and be perfected in Him. My faith brings me great joy and many blessings. I want to help others feel this same happiness. I attend church every Sunday. I read from the holy scriptures every day. Prayer is an important part of my life. I also strive to serve others where possible. I hope that I will always have the courage to stand up for my beliefs and values.
