Hi I'm Christina

I am from Morgan, Utah. I am on a mission in Chesapeake Virgina. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love to sketch things on any paper I get ahold of. I have gone to one semester of college. I love horses and all animals and hope to own a ranch someday.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church but have learned to love it in a personal way. I am not a member because thats all I've known, I'm a member because I've chosen to be. With this gospel I know who I am and what I can become. Also I can be with my famiy for all eternity.

How I live my faith

I am in Virgina teaching the gospel to all the lovely people here. I have learned to love the gospel more than ever through the spirit of teaching it. It is so true when they say that you learn the most when you prepare a talk/lesson on a topic. I hope to help others gain a closer relationship with their father in heaven and help them make promises they KNOW they can keep.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Christina
To be technical, no one is required to serve a mission. You can get to heaven without it, but men are especially encouraged to go. We see it as one of the resposibilities of holding the priesthood. Women are encouraged to go as well, but are more encouraged to get married and raise a family. Serving a mission not only helps those around you come closer to Christ but it helps the missionary as well. We learn a lot of the skills we will need to get through this life and continue to rely on the Savior and understand that he is forever at our aid. Show more Show less
