Hi I'm Indiana

I am a rocker, an artist, a jeweler, a youtuber, a writer, a musician, a leader, team player, family man, and a Mormon

About Me

I have always seen the world differently than most people do, and while most people were playing sports or going to parties, I was watching cartoons and expanding my creativity. As this grew, i discovered I was good with my hands; as a result, I have become a creator. I have worked in everything form wood and metal to drawing comic strips. In recent years I've discovered my skill as a writer, and one day hope to use my skills to make cartoon shows, movies, video games, books, and graphic novels for a living. There are many hobbies that I've developed, one of them being music production, others being horror movie makeup. I don't think I'm going to do anything as far as music other than create, but I do want to create and own a haunted house one day, or two, or seven. I guess to put it in a box - I learned that the work of my hands has brought joy to many - and I enjoy entertaining people. I am a Brony (Dashie is best Pony), and up until my mission I was a very active contributor to the Fandom including being an administrator for several Brony Chat groups on Facebook, posting plenty of PMV's on Youtube (Indyofthedead), writing fan fictions, creating art, just about everything you can think of I've either done or plan to do after my mission. I am currently serving in the Minnesota Minneapolis Mission (Frozen Chosen/MMM). I'm still young and I think I have a lot of life ahead of me still. I'm not sure what is up ahead, but I have high hopes for what is to come.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because there is no church out there that I know of that really tells you that there is a being far greater than you can comprehend, and that you can talk with him, he will talk to you, and you will gain a relationship with him that will no other earthly relationship can compare. I know my heavenly father lives and that he guides me every day.

How I live my faith

My life hasn't really been easy. Growing up in school I was bullied and made fun of simply because I was different. At first I hated being different, but then I realized that was who I was and am. I was always weird because I have always enjoyed the darker more macabre things of the world; I guess that's why my favorite holiday is Halloween. I am a firm believer that most of what you do in this life is between you and God. I live my life following the spirit and having the Lord guide me in every aspect of my life. I believe that the most important relationship we can have in this life is the relationship we have with our heavenly father. I believe that he knows best and that he will always steer us towards what will make us happiest. From what I've learned from reading my scriptures and from my own testimony of prayer, I believe that the best way to describe our heavenly father is a "Mad Genius". It seems to me, especially the older I get, that our heavenly father might not always make sense to us, or do things that we would consider logical, but he knows what he's doing and he is good at it. I've come to rely upon him for everything step in my life, and as I have leaned upon him I've been guided down a road that might not make sense to everyone else, but it is a fun journey.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

We do not worship Joseph Smith. Joseph Smith was simply a man who was guided by God to do God's will. The reason I believe why we hold Joseph Smith with so much reverence is because almost everything that the church is founded upon and practices today is the result of the revelations received by Joseph Smith the Prophet. I believe that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God like that of Moses, Noah, Abraham, Issac, Jacob, etc. Through him, the church that Christ had set up was restored it's fullness and glory and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is God's Kingdom on the Earth today. How can I know Mormonism is true?

In the words of a good friend of mine who was a convert to the church; "In no other religion that I had researched did I find anyone who in effect said 'here's Gods business card, now ask him what's true or not." I tell you simply and I don't think any other Mormon will tell you differently, that the only way to know if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true or not is to "Ask God the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ if these things are not true" (Moroni 10:4) Show more Show less
