Hi I'm Devin

I am from Colorado. I am a full time student, a convert, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a full time student studying Recreation Management at BYU-Idaho. It is my dream to work at Grand Canyon National Park. I am a tennis player, a member of a competitive ultimate frisbee team, and I love distance running. There is nothing more important to me than keeping strong relationships with my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was growing up, I had many questions about the purpose of life and what would happen when my time was up on earth. I was terrified of what was to come. I would pray constantly as a child, asking that I might live forever so I would not have to face death. My prayers were answered, and my family came in contact with missionaries in our area! The most powerful thing they taught me was the Plan of Salvation. I learned through it, that I am an eternal being and that I should not be afraid of what was to come, but that I could have faith in a plan that helped me return to God. That was 7 years ago and could not be happier to have made the decision to join the Church. Over the years, I have learned so much and I am so grateful to have the knowledge that I have. I am so blessed and so loved by God. I love being a Mormon and I couldn't imagine my life any other way.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by showing love to those around me. As a woman in the church, and even while at school, I am able to show love and concern for others by visiting them and teaching them in their homes. I have the opportunity to do service for others, teach children and plan activities.
