Hi I'm Alma Angelina

I know my Savior Jesus Christ atoned and died for my sins. The fullness of His true Gospel has been restored, and He lives now.

About Me

I am a wife, mom and grandmother. I was named after a Mexican song. I was born in Mexico, and grew up most of my life in the USA. I am a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Days Saints. I am a three-time cancer survivor. I strive to make the best of it in being positive and having a sense of humor with my many "chemo brain blooper moments" ... LOL!!! I am very grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ carrying me through this battle. I love "temple hopping" visiting the Lord's Holy House in different states. I enjoy cooking, dancing, fishing, traveling, riding roller coasters (front seat all the time); and I LOVE reading. I also enjoy doing genealogy; and volunteer in "Family History Indexing." I desire to serve a mission with my eternal companion once he retires.

Why I am a Mormon

I know the Church is true. I feel blessed to have the fullness of the true Gospel of Jesus Christ in my life. I know where I came from, I understand why I am here in this mortal life, and where I will go after this life. Families can be eternal. My Faith and testimony of my Savior Jesus Christ. Having knowledge of the Plan of Salvation, along with applying the atonement in my life has given me the courage and strength to take on the trials in my life. I'm grateful to be where I am in my life for there are others worst off than me. I have so much to be grateful for ... I have the TRUTH in my life ... I know my Savior Jesus Christ LIVES and I am a SPECIAL daughter of my Heavenly Father ... I am of worth of a soul.

How I live my faith

I strive to live my life close to my Savior Jesus Christ through prayer, faith and obedience. I am a visiting teacher ... I enjoy sharing God's spiritual messages with the women of my Church .... for it gives hope, comfort and strength. I have a strong testimony of this devine calling. Having experienced many trials, loss of my loved ones has given me a lot of opportunities to share the TRUTH, the Plan of Salvation with others that don't understand WHY they have trials. I want them to know the truth, feel the strength, peace and comfort I feel within me. I wake up everyday with gratitude for another new day of life, for my eternal companion and family; for ALL my blessings surrounding me. I am grateful for a loving Heavenly Father, and for my Savior Jesus Christ who has made it possible for me through this "journey of life." I believe that "not all hope is lost ... with God all things are possible."
