Hi I'm Eulalia

I ride and train horses. I love to be outside working & playing with my family. I'm serving a mission in Indiana and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grew up on a small farm in Wales Utah. I have 10 siblings and we all helped repair fences and build shelters for the animals. My parents taught us all to work hard and I have followed their example the best that I can while I am here serving in Indiana. while here I have served in 6 places. on IUPUI campus, Fishers, Zionsville, Indy 1st (south port area), Westfield, and Seymour. Hopefully with more to come. this has been one of the best things I have ever done in my life. it gives me the chance to reach out to people in ways that I never would've dreamed of before and I have come to know my Heavenly Father much more personally than I would have otherwise. I love Indiana and the people I have met. there has been nothing better in all life. I will be forever be grateful to my Heavenly Father for this chance to serve his children.

Why I am a Mormon

I love my faith. To me its not the church building I go to or the people there. it is the truths that I have come to know in the Mormon faith, my family will be together even after death the Book of Mormon stands as another testament of Jesus Christ only adding to the things that the bible teaches. Here I know who I am and what I stand for. In any other place I would be utterly lost, this gospel is very much like my lighthouse leading me to safer harbors. I need my family and the promises that I have made with My Heavenly Father. The Gospel makes all that possible. This path has lead me to the greatest blessings, and there are still more to come. I look forward to the future with hope and joy. I have never been happier than when I live the principles taught in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

My family has been delivering news papers for about 15 years and that has provided us with the opportunity to always be honest in our dealings. We took it on to help support my older siblings who have also decided to serve missions. It helped me see the importance of service and that I would one day serve a mission as my siblings have. As I have served I have been happier because I look for ways to be a better person and I found that the more I reach out I can feel my Savior, Jesus Christ reaching me. Ultimately I think this is why I have chosen to serve. This brings me the most peace I have ever found.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

The Atonement is the process of becoming one with someone else, in this case becoming one with God. This means that the Atonement is literally how I become like God. The Atonement is not only for sins that need to be righted, it is also so that the Savior would know what I have felt. Sin was the requirement, yet he went beyond so he could be there in the worst of times. His motivation was love. Because my Savior was able to do this, I have a friend that is never too far away. too busy, or too annoyed, to come and be there when I feel completely alone, He knows me better than I know myself and he will always be there when I need someone to lean on, even if he can't be there physically, he will always support me.
