Hi I'm Sarah

I'm a working mother of 2 beautiful girls, a southern gal transplanted in Wisconsin.

About Me

I grew up in Texas and met my husband while attending grad school in Arizona. We've since moved to Wisconsin and have 2 beautiful daughters. My favorite part of any day is coming in the front door after a long day of work and being greeted by my own personal fan club! We like to have dance parties, play games, and read books together. In my spare time, I dabble in jewelry making, sewing, crocheting, and other crafty things. I love to dance and look forward each week to my Saturday morning Zumba!

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that God loves all his children, and as we learn in Ephesians, there should be "one faith, one Lord, one baptism." The more I study both the Book of Mormon and the Holy Bible, the more logically the gospel of Jesus Christ makes sense to me. But more so, my testimony has been affirmed through prayer. So why am I a Mormon? Because it's true!

How I live my faith

The hardest part about accepting the atonement of Jesus Christ is learning to be able to forgive yourself. I am trying to be kinder to myself, to be kinder to others, to pattern my life after Christ's. I am inspired daily by the faithful women in my Bible study group, and I have started my own early morning study group as well. I am challenged (and overwhelmed!) by motherhood, but nothing really compares to the joy I feel when I can share my testimony with my girls. I love to hear them sing "I am a Child of God" or listen to their sweet and honest prayers.
