Hi I'm Meckenzy

I am a student at BYU. I love to snowboard, wake board, play soccer, and be with my family and friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student at Brigham Young University. I love sports! I just love everything outside! I have played soccer since I was six years old. I also love to snowboard, wake board, and dirt bike. But most of all, I love to spend time with my family and friends. Oh and...I leave in two weeks to serve a mission! =)

Why I am a Mormon

I am ultimately a Mormon because it makes me happy. I love this gospel with all of my heart. I remember when I was 13 years old I felt the God's love for me intensely on a level that I had not experienced before. I was challenged to ask the Lord if He loves me. At first I thought this was dumb because I figured I knew that He loved me. After studying my scriptures I got down on my knees and asked the Lord if He loved me. The feeling I had was indescribable. I had never felt so loved in my whole life. It brought me to tears. I could almost feel the Lord wrapping His arms around me. I know with out a doubt that God loves each of us. I know He sent His son Jesus Christ to atone for our sins so that we can live with Him again. I know Christ understands how we feel and the trials that we go through. He has comforted me many times when I have felt alone. I know Joseph Smith restored the gospel. The Book of Mormon is real. It is true. This book changes lives. It has changed mine. I know that if you read it and pray about its truthfulness it WILL change your life too if it has not already.

How I live my faith

In my student ward I plan the activities. We do parties for every holiday and sometimes we just throw parties for fun! I love spending time with my ward family. It is so nice to be surrounded by good people who have the same values as I do. Attending church and living the gospel are very important to me.
