Hi I'm Kaitlyn Glauser

I live in Utah and have also been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ my whole life.

About Me

I am a 19 year old girl. In october I turned in my mission papers after the exciting news of the age being lowered. Previous to this announcement I had my own plans of what I wanted in my life. I was planning on working hard in my job and working hard in school. My goal was to be a nurse by the time I turned 23 and have my Bachelors by the time I turned 25. This clearly was not the time frame the Lord had in mind. I quickly discovered that the Lord has a plan for me and he will guide me in the right direction if I listen to him and follow his promptings. I have had many experiences in my life that has brought me closer to the Lord. Some experiences are sweet and some are bitter, but all are blessings because they have brought me closer to my Lord and Savior. I have been involved in many things in my life that have blessed me, and helped me share my testimony with others and I know that the Lord has given me those opportunities, and that they did not come from me and I must give credit to the Lord.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been blessed to be raised in the church, but I had to have my own conversion. Throughout my life I have been blessed with testimony building opportunities to strengthen my own testimony. I recently finished The Book of Mormon for the third time. Every time I read the words in The Book of Mormon I know that it is indeed the words of the Lord through ancient prophets. That knowledge that The Book of Mormon has given me helps me to recognize and know the truthfulness of Latter-Day prophets. I know that the Lord has given us Latter-Day prophets as well as ancient prophets to teach us and to guide us. I have prayed for a confirmation to know that this is true and I have been touched with the sweet and tender feeling of the Holy Ghost to know that what I feel is true. I know that God answers our prayers and that he is just waiting for us to talk to him and ask him, because he wants to teach us the truth. I love this Gospel and I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, because I know without any doubt that it is what the name says, The Church of Jesus Christ. It is the same church that he established when he walked on this Earth, and that through Joseph Smith he was able to restore his gospel. It is a Gospel of Peace and Love!

How I live my faith

For just over 2 years my Mom has battled with Leukemia. This has been a very hard but rewarding time in me and my families life. We have become closer with one another and have been able to love more deeply through this trial. We have learned how to depend on the Lord and how to put trust in him. He will truly bless us and already has. I mentioned before that I am preparing to serve a mission, this has been a very difficult decision for me because of the fear I have with my Moms health; however I know that by serving, the Lord will bless me and my family. I also know that through the Spirit of Christ that I have I will be able to help touch the lives of others and in return bless their lives. The great thing about The Church of Jesus Christ is that we know without a doubt that this life is not the end. We will be able to live with our family even after we die, for all eternity. Serving the Lord will not be easy, but I am so blessed that I can be a messenger for the Lord and that I can share the sweet message of Eternal Families with others who ache to see their loved ones again, and do not have the knowledge yet.
