Hi I'm RaNae Hulse

I taught school for 28 years. My husband and I had many children live in our home besides our own 3. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of 3 children. My husband and I had 33 foster children, 2 Cuban refugees and 3 foreign exchange students live with us. I taught 1st grade and Kindergarten for 28 years. I love to read and travel and spend time with my children and grandchildren, extended family and friends. I enjoy making homemade greeting cards.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Dy Saints. I have a very strong testimony that Jesus Christ lives and answers my prayers. I have felt His spirit to be with me, especially in times of trial, like when my husband was very ill for a long time and died, way too young. I know that when I sincerely pray that Heavenly Father will truly answer my prayers by giving me a warm feeling to know that something is right or a stupor of thought when it is not right. Sometimes the answers to my prayers are yes and sometimes no and sometimes not now. I realize that I am the happiest when I am in the service of my fellow men and the Lord. I like to do as much as I can to serve my family and others, even total strangers.

How I live my faith

I like to volunteer in my community at the foodbank and library. I have taught in my church from nursery on up to adult classes. I especially enjoy working with the youth from 6-18. One of my favorite things is to go visit with ladies in my neighborhood and help them whenever possible. I have worked in the LDS temple and served a mission in Salt Lake City Utah. I will soon be serving another mission in Texas.
