Hi I'm Michael

I am trying to learn Chinese, I enjoy the outdoors, I love freedom and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am 21 years old, I am a patriot and American down to the soul, I love freedom and liberty and the preservation of human rights. Nothing is better than going backpacking and connecting with nature I believe that everyone should go into the backwoods and ponder Gods beautiful creations. I love rugby and hope one day to be a high school rubgy coach. I could spend days sitting down and reading a good book I love to read and learn new things and am constantly seeking knowledge, I hope to join the NAVY as a captain and move into Special Forces. I love my family and friends very much and I am extremely grateful for them and there constant support they were to me I would not be where I am without them and their love. I am proud of my church and the priesthood that I hold and am grateful to my Father in Heaven for the blessings he gives me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was adopted at age 4 and my loving parents raised me with good values, but you cannot rely on somebody else's testimony for it will only take you so far and with me I had relied to heavily on my family and friends and their testimonies and so when the time came around I fell away because I did not have one, and it took me a while to come back but through help from my friends and family I came back with a stronger desire to be a true disciple of Christ and try to help others develop personal testimonies with our Father. This Gospel means everything to me because it truly can change peoples lives and improve them for the better.

How I live my faith

Right now I am a missionary in the wonderful land of Taiwan 台灣 among the Chinese people and trying to learn their language, and consider myself very blessed to be here. Through my mission here among the Asian people I have grown a deep love for them and their culture here.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

I live and think just like all humans do the same, but I live according to Gods commandment that come to us through living prophets, some may think we are different but to me it is just a method in which I am able obtain greater happiness and peace in my life. I go to church on Sunday and actively participate in my callings in the church, study scriptures daily and most important communicate with Him daily in sincere prayer, as I do these things I feel my Fathers presence closer and feel His love and influence in my life.
