Hi I'm Maurnet

I was born and raised in Washington state. I love to play and watch soccer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the third child of eight. I have two older brothers, 3 younger sisters, and 2 younger brothers. I come from a family that loves soccer. I played for about 8 years until I quit after my junior year in high school. I still play for intramurals at BYU. So obviously I am a student at Brigham Young University studying Recreation Management (event planning). I am about to leave on my mission to Rosario, Argentina.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I am much happier when living the gospel of Jesus Christ. Times in my life and the lives of those around me are far from easy and I have noticed that as I stay strong in my standards I have been happier. I know that Jesus Christ suffered so that I can be forgiven of my sins and so that I can become a better person. I know that God loves me and knows me personally. He knows what is best for me and He will help me reach my fullest potential. I know that Thomas S. Monson is the prophet of this church now and that he receives revelation to help guide us through our lives. I am grateful for revelation so that we can live according to God's will. I know the Book of Mormon is true because I have read it and continue to read it. It truly does testify of Christ. I am grateful for this gospel of happiness and I know that as I live it I am blessed with peace and happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church every Sunday. Instead of just going I try each week to take something from the 3 hours. I am also soon going to be set apart as a full-time missionary. Each day I will study the scriptures and other lessons on Christ so that I can help others come closer to Christ. Whenever I have had callings I have tried my hardest to fulfill them. My most recent calling was Ward Missionary (how appropriate) where I helped befriend people in the ward to unite our ward and make us stronger together.
