Hi I'm Shae

I am a gymnastics coach and I am a mormon

About Me

Hi, I am Shae, I have grown up with an older brother and two little sisters. They are my best friends. I enjoy skiing, living in Utah I am lucky enough to ski at the most amazing resorts. I was a gymnast when I was younger than became a cheerleader using my tumbling skills. I love to be involved with school activities, cheering at basketball games was my favorite. I am now at a University, studying business. I hope to become a CPA for a company one day. One thing on my bucket list is to become a private pilot and fly all around the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I love knowing that I have a purpose here on this earth. I know that this life is a test, it is helping us go and meet our Heavenly Father. I love how my church focuses on the family, to spend time together and really love each other. I have always looked up to both of my parents with high respect, I've used their testimony(beliefs) as one for me to rely on, until I wanted to know for myself if this church is true. I read the Book of Mormon and really prayed to know for certain that the way I was living and what I believe in is really true. I was able to find my answer and know for myself that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true and I am so grateful for that knowledge. Recently I have thought about going on a mission, I wasn't sure if that was the right thing for me to do so, I prayed about it. Long and hard I prayed and waited for an answer. I learned through this that an answer from God doesn't come right when you want it to. I had to make up my mind first and then pray about it. An answer still didn't come and I was getting a little uneasy because the time was crucial for me to know if I should go or not. I continued to pray and got a sweet short answer to go. My answer came in the Lords time but it also came at a perfect time for me also. There were things that I had to figure out before I could receive my answer. I am happy to say that I am going to serve a mission and teach people about my church that I love so much.

How I live my faith

One really neat thing about my faith is our focus on service. At least once a month our youth have a service project, when I was younger I didn't appreciate going to those activities as much as I do now. I have learned that great happiness comes in serving others. It has been a good thing for me to learn in my younger years.
