Hi I'm Jared

I have family from Utah, Puerto Rico, and Cuba. I cook in a Mexican restaurant and I love music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I did marching band in high school and I love computer technology. My favorite thing to do is spend time with family, when it comes down to it, they are all we have. I enjoy every moment i get to help people in any way, specifically through the gospel. I plan on serving a full time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of latter day Saints and help others to come to know of Christ as I know of him.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been blessed to be a member of this Church my entire life, but that does not exclude me from having to find my own testimony. To get a Testimony I had to dig a litter deeper, and look at all those who I knew. True happiness is something that all are searching, sometimes I felt that I was looking the hardest. When I see people both friends and family going about life, I can tell a difference between those who have the Gospel in their lives and those who do not. A difference between those that trust in the lord and those who attempt to do things on their own. Having tried to do things alone in the past, soon i realized I didn't have a chance, and I even felt alone more than anytime in my life. But I remembered there was one person who knew exactly how i felt, one person who knew what i was going through. A person that could help when no one else could, if we would only come to know of him. The Savior Jesus Christ. Through The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints I have gained a growing testimony of the Savior Jesus Christ, and of his ability to mend all scars. A testimony that The Father still calls a living Prophet today and that through modern revelation we have been given The Book of Mormon. I know that the Family is something direct from our Heavenly Father and it is through his plan that we can be together with him and our families forever.

How I live my faith

During my Church meetings on Sundays, I have been given the opportunity to teach a class to those who are investigating the Church and want to learn more about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It has the name "Gospel Principles" and during our 40~ minutes each week we talk about a specific principle such as "Faith" and speak about their importance as they pertain to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
