Hi I'm David Adam Martinez

I'm a Missionary, an athlete, and a gamer, but most importantly, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in California, but moved to Utah when I was about 9 years old. In High School, I enjoyed playing Sports. Track, Football, and Basketball. I am the 2nd oldest of 4 children in my family. I am a twin. I am currently serving as a Full-time missionary for the Church in New Jersey. I am also a gamer. I love music.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. I grew up going to Seminary and living the Gospel. I can't really tell you one specific moment when I received an answer that the Gospel was true. It was kind of a process. As I've lived the Gospel, I've seen many blessing in my life. As I've read the Book of Mormon, I've felt it draw me closer to my Savior and my Heavenly Father. It has answered questions that I've had in my life. As a full time missionary, I have seen to Gospel change people. I've seen them go from being low and miserable to being happy and content with life. That's what the True Gospel of Jesus Christ does. It helps us fulfill our potential. It helps us learn who we are and give us added guidance and direction in our lives.

How I live my faith

I believe that the President, His Counselors, and the 12 Apostles of this church are called of God. As they receive revelation and share it through counsel, I have the choice to follow that counsel or not. As I have followed it, I have seen happiness in my life. When I have not followed it, I have seen sadness accompanied by guilt and shame. I live my faith through sustaining my leaders and following the counsel they receive for me.

Why do Mormons baptize their new members?

David Adam Martinez
We believe that we must all follow the example of Jesus Christ and be baptized by immersion by someone who holds the Priesthood authority of God. Show more Show less
