Hi I'm Cameron

I love water polo, to hike, swim, camp, and take pictures. I love my friends an family and I love the gospel of Jesus Christ.

About Me

I played water polo and swam all through high school. I graduated high school with my associates degree in general studies from SLCC. I have taken one semester at the University of Utah and plan on majoring in Computer Science Engineering. I am a photographer, a hiker, and a camper. I love my friends and family. I am now serving my mission in Carlsbad California and will transfer to Resistencia Argentina when I get my visa! I love being a missionary! It is such an amazing oppertunity to be able to serve the Lord full time for these two years of my life! I have already grown and learned so many things that I never would have had I not come on a mission. I love the opportunity that I get each and every day to go and serve the people and help them to know that Jesus is the Christ and their savior and redeemer. That God lives and loves them and has a plan for them. To see how happy they are as they learn to accept and act upon the gospel that our Heavenly Father has given us. On my mission I get to see my testimony grow each and every day as miracles occur and the work progresses. I am so greatful for the knowledge that I have about this gospel and the happyness that it brings me. That is why I serve my mission to be able to share this wonderful news with the world. To pronounce that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior and atoned for each one of us individually. He knows and loves us and wants us to have success and be happy. I do so testify in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Why I am a Mormon

I have recieved personal revelation from God the father that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the one and only true church on this Earth. I have prayed to Heavenly Father and have received confirmation that this church is the true church and that it is the church the Christ created when he was on the Earth. I know that this church isn't a different or new church but that it was restored to the Earth by God the father and Jesus Christ to the latter day prophet Joseph Smith. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet and the preisthood (or power and authority to act in God's name) was restored to the Earth through him. I know that as Joseph Smith said, "The book of Mormon is the most correct book on earth and one can draw nearest to God by abiding by it's precepts than by any other book." I am grateful for a loving heavenly father who knows and loves me and I am grateful to be a member of this church. I know that the challenge that the prophet Moroni gives us in the 10th chapter of the Book of Mormon is of profound significance to every person on this Earth. I know that anyone who asks of God with a sincear heart and with pure intent, having faith in Christ can and will find out through the power of the Holy Ghost that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ and that it is the word of God. This will also confirm that Joseph Smith was and is a true prophet of God. I challenge all as Moroni has to read the Book of Mormon and ask God for their selves!

How I live my faith

I have been active in the church all my life. My parents have raised me in the church and I am grateful for that. I have served in many leadership callings including Deacon's quorum president, Teacher's quorum president, 1st assistant in the Priest quorum. I have had the opportunity to work closely with the youth leaders in planning activities for our youth group. I strive everyday to follow the example of our savior Jesus Christ. He is the ultimate example for me and I try my best to be like him. I am nowhere near perfect and as to my own streanght I am weak, but I know that with God anything is possible so I will not boast of my own streangth but I will boast of his -Ammon (Alma 26:12). I do my best everyday to live the kind of life that my heavenly father can be proud of. I believe that a life of love and service is the most important way of living. I try to live my faith by the way I act every day. I try to show that I am a disciple of Christ through my actions towards others. I try my best to share Christs love for others through faith, hope, charity, and love. I am trying to spread his gospel to all though who will accept it so that they can have the same peace, happyness, and love that comes from living a life centered in Christ.
