Hi I'm Annie

Lover of all things green, 90's punk, cold weather, and the cooking channel. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Well guys, I think i'm pretty normal. I love my family and my friends. They are my everything.I LOVE music. I dream of owning a Christmas tree farm (ILOVECHRISTMASTREES), but i'm going to school in hopes of someday becoming a psychiatrist. I love people. I could listen to life stories all day long. I grew up in Indiana in a small town, and I was so blessed there. I loved the lightening bugs, the corn fields, and how quiet it was. I was one of the few members of the Church, and I loved that. It was good for me. I think it's interesting how places and circumstances can shape you. Indiana shaped me. I play the guitar, and I sing all day, every day. There will forever be a song in my head. I love Rock n' Roll! Classic rock, punk, ska, indie, folk. It's all great. Good music makes life better. I like fun. If it's fun (and wholesome) then I want to do it :) I'm a loud laugh-er. Can't even help it. I have great parents, and I want to be just like them someday. They love each other a lot, and they love me a lot. Good parents have so much influence on the world. I want to be one! Overall, I love life, I'm happy, grateful, and excited for what is to come. Life is good.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. I respect and appreciate other religions, but I do believe that there is only really one truth, and that there is only one true church. I love what the church teaches. I grew up being taught about honesty, modesty, kindness, charity, chastity, service, forgiveness, and family values. I struggle everyday to become what Mormons teach, which brings me to my knees, and closer to my creator. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day saints is a church of hard work, dedication, making decisions between good and best, and high standards (the Lord's standards). But, I don't let that scare me. This is also a church of love, encouragement, and second chances. I am a Mormon because this gospel has helped me become who I was created to be, from the beginning. I LOVE being a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I pray every day. I read my scriptures, every day. I try to be better every day. I am so imperfect! I lean on the gospel to help me change and improve. The Gospel of Jesus Christ has brought about mighty changes in my heart a few times in my life. It has helped me forgive others, and let go of bitterness. It has humbled me to repentance. It has taught me about my weaknesses, and how I can change them. It's good to hear others testimonies of the Gospel, but I always need to find out for myself. When I feel like I don't know that something is true about the Gospel, I study it, pray about it, live it, and I ALWAYS find out that it's true, and good. God wants us to know of His truths for ourselves.
