Hi I'm Molly Fields (:

I love Netflix, my niece an nephews, and my HUGE little brother. I'm a full-time missionary, a part-time entertainer and a Mormon!

About Me

Fun facts about me: I'm freakishly tall. I love the feeling of being on stage. All the lights burning my cheeks, along with the eyes of the audience. I love the feeling of escape I get when I act. I can be me, in someone else. In my spare time I listen to music (dubstep, classical, I love it all...), plan other people's wedding, and spend time with my adorable neice and nephews. They are my little loves! If I could pick my dream job it would definitely be a motivational speaker. I just want everyone to be their best selves all the time. Oh, and I love to sing. Seriously, it is a passion. There is nothing that makes me feel more at peace then when I am in a group of people sharing our feelings through song. I love to be melodramatic, it makes life more interesting. I also love boys. They're cute. And they buy me dinner. My parents have been married for my whole life, having different views on religion. The home I have been raised in is just perfect for me and my little (but not so little) brother. He is my best friend. My favorite color is "cerulean." I don't know how to pronounce it, but it's a Crayola crayon color. I was voted class clown of my graduating class. I won by a landslide. No big deal. Also, I love my Heavenly Father and my brother, Jesus Christ. I've never been ashamed of me, and I never will be.

Why I am a Mormon

My mom is the pioneer member of this church. She invited the missionaries in many years ago and it was testified to her, through the spirit of God, that the things they said are true. I was young, so it's as if I have been raised in the church. However, my father is not a member. He choses to not have a religion. I have always had the choice of how to worship God, in which church, or even not at all. As I was growing up (and I still am, as we all are) I have had soul searching questions about myself, others, and life in general. There isn't always a book for everything. I can't always "Google" and get the answer to things. I began to pray, and through earnest prayer ALL of my questions have been answered. I find peace and comfort in knowing that Heavenly Father is my God and He wants me to be happy. I also know that through the Atonement of Jesus Christ all of my sins, weaknesses and just hard days can be made light and I can live a life worthy of being happy forever. I know that I make mistakes, because life is hard. Things are placed in our path that seem too hard to handle. I know that through The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and the restored priesthood to the Earth, I can live a good life and return to be with my Father in Heaven. I know that through following the Savior, Jesus Christ, I can one day live with my family in Heaven. I love walking confident. That's why I'm Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a full time, 18-month, mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have been called to the Nevada, Las Vegas Mission. I came from a "singles ward," which is a special ward for unmarried adults between the ages of 18 and 30. I raised my hand a lot in class because I just love to share my testimony, and now I get to tell everyone I talk to what I believe! I have been in a presidency of a girls camp planning committee. It was a great opportunity to plan a week of righteous and team bonding activities for girls 12-18. I always sing in church choir. You don't need talent, there is no judgement, and everyone wants you to be there. What's a better way to show God you love Him than to sing praises to Him?

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Molly Fields (:
A testimony is an answer we recieve into our hearts by the power of our Heavenly Father's spirit. To bear testimony is to share this knowledge with others. A testimony can be as simple as "I know that my Heavenly Fathe loves me," or "I like going to church because I grow closer to my Savior." The gospel means "good news," and when we have good news we share it! Show more Show less
