Hi I'm Natalie

I am grateful, blessed, loved, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the Church /Gospel, and learned for myself to love it! I love any kind of activity such as; outdoors, sports, and art. I am proud to be called a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was very blessed to be born into this church and have the gospel in my life. Although being born into it, one would think that you just automatically believe all of its teachings but I did have my trials and tribulations that were accompanied with doubts. At about the age of 13, I thought a lot about Joseph Smith and I began to wonder how I would ever actually know for myself if this church was true. I decided to pray just as Joseph did and I was told to read the Book of Mormon. Every page I turned I felt peace, love, joy, the feelings I felt were addicting and so I finished it. I prayed with all sincerity of heart to know if it was true. The Holy Ghost made its seem as though our Heavenly Father had just came down and had given me a big hug. Such a feeling that one will have to discover themselves to know the actual feeling. I since then can never deny that that book is not true. I am a Mormon because I now know where I came from, why I am here and where I am going. I know of the love that Christ has for me and through him I can be happy, and be with my family forever.

How I live my faith

One of my most favorite things in the world is going to church to teach my 9 year old class, the Valiant 9's. I love teaching them the truths, principles, and commands of God and most importantly about our Brother, Jesus Christ. I love watching there eyes fill with light, happiness and eagerness to learn. Children are very special and we are taught to become like them; full of light and happiness with a willing and eagerness to learn. I think I learn more giving the lesson than my class some weeks. God has saved them for this time on Earth and I pray I can influence it.

What do Mormons believe about the Holy Ghost? Who is the Holy Ghost?

The Holy Ghost also called the Spirit, helps us receive personal revelation. He brings a message from God which maybe actual words, but is feelings and impression to the heart. Without him our organization wouldn't be what it is today, the spirit is what makes our religion so different from many. It testifies of the truth and brings Gods love into the hearts of men. He is in fact one of my best friends. I try not to do anything to offend him. I always want his presence, for through him I feel closer to my Savior and God. Show more Show less

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Missionaries are servants of the Lord that go out and teach others of the Restored gospel. They do not go to your home to argue and they are not there to take away from things that you know to be true but to build upon those things to add clarity to questions that you may have had. They know that they cannot convince any one of anything or force any one to believe what they are sharing but they simply invite you to make steps to come unto Christ. Everything they teach is centered in Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:20 Show more Show less
