Hi I'm Dee

I grew up in Oklahoma. I care for my family and friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to make others laugh. I love the gospel. I love reading and movies. I have a blast with who ever I am with. I like to be a little dramatic and over the top. I can dance in the middle of the store to my own beat. I am not ashamed of who I am. I love to see people smile and happy. I want to skydive some day and learn to surf. I have a knack for taking a conversation that could be about Pluto and some how relate it to Christ and the restored gospel! I live it and love it.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was younger my father, who is physically disabled, constantly showed me his unwavering faith. My sister and I were in foster homes for the first portion of our lives. The times my father demonstrated his faith was the mornings that I was living with him I would see him kneel as best as he could by his bed and offer a prayer. I always felt love sent by the spirit. Often times my Father did odd things like move the refrigerator and clean because he was prompted to. (all on his own) or walking to school in the snow no socks or shoes (because he cant put them on himself ) and delivered us our Jackets that we had left at home that morning. My dad sacrificed all he had in order to raise his children. My life has been a struggle but never once did I ever deny the truth it holds. When put to the test I stumbled and faltered. When I needed him most my father would help me through the trial quietly and lovingly cheering me on along the way. Many influences have come in and out of my life. Each and every one put in my path. I have learned through trials and tribulations and know now more then ever this is the one true church. that Joseph Smith directed by God brought forth the everlasting gospel. I testify that President Thomas S. Monson is the true and real prophet today. I say this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I am in my YSA (young single adult) compassionate service committee. I have the honor and privilege to care for the sisters in my ward. I bring them treats, food, hugs, even words when ever they need them. I write birthday cards to all of the members and remind them how special each and every one of them is! I remind them that heavenly father is proud of who they are and their accomplishments. And I even now testify to you that it is true! Heavenly Father loves all of his children. No matter how hard things get remember, he trusts you enough to take the next step. Even if you feel worn down and worked to the bone. I promise if you just say a little prayer in your heart he will hear you and can and will bless you.
