Hi I'm Megan

I love watching movies. I decorate wedding cakes. I am the funniest person you will meet! I want to be a counselor. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I was born and raised in Salt Lake City and am currently serving in the California Anaheim Mission. Before my mission I was attending Southern Utah University working on my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. I hope to one day become a Teen Age Counselor. I love black and white movies, and classic literature. I decorate wedding cakes for a side job, and I have a deathly fear of horses. My life is rarely boring, but my stories are always epic. I am garanteed to be one of the funniest people you will ever meet! My life is centered around my faith and donuts. I know two languages: English and Sarcasim. My life is fantastic and I love my mission!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church, but when I was in my teens I felt the need to know for certain if this church was true. I started to read The Book of Mormon ( a book of scripture in my church) along with the Bible. I didn't always understand all what was written, but I felt an overwhelming sense of peace and happiness. It was like being covered in a warm blanket. I loved the feeling I received. I also loved the lessons that were taught by my leaders. They spoke of service, love, forgiveness, repentance, and happiness. I felt like no matter what mistakes I had made, no matter what foolish actions of my past, God would always be there for me . I also discovered that the people around me in my church loved me and cared for me. I learned the importance of family and friends. I also learned the need to forgive others and myself of the past. I am a Mormon because I am the best version of myself when I live the teachings of this faith. I am Megan and I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I love my faith so much! Being apart of the LDS church has been a huge help in my life. I attend church on Sunday where I feel great about myself and God. On weekdays I help visit people in the neighborhood and ask how they are doing. I find that when I take the time to care about my friends and people around me, and gain a greater love for myself and those I associate with. The amount of happiness and love I feel throughout my week makes me appreciate and love my faith even more.
