Hi I'm Bryce Harper-Smith

im an adrenaline junkie, an actionsports filmer, and live this amazing life to the fullest! and im a mormon.

About Me

I love this wonderful life that my Father in Heaven has blessed me with. When we all take a step back and realize the bounteous amount of blessings God has given us all it is truly a humbling experience. I have been so blessed. For the past 23 months i have had the amazing opportunity to serve Him who has given me so much and have the opportunity to represent his Beloved Son, Jesus Christ. FOREVER I will be grateful for my mission. I left my home and all my family in Mesa Arizona with all the things I love to do... which is practically anything that gets me in the air long enough I have time to think about it. Back home i was an adrenaline junky one who always came home with blood stains and new scars to show my mom (she loved it). I love Freeride and Downhill mountain biking. I love Being on a mountain strapped into my snow board on a bluebird day with unriden powder at my feet. I love Filming and Editing. I love My GoPro. I love feeling closer and closer to God everyday. I love this Gospel and the good feelings it brings to my heart. I have loved my mission SO much. it will always be something sacred to me. I love my Savior Jesus Christ. For the past 2 years I have felt his presence and grown closer to Him more than ever before in my whole life. I know Gods plan is perfect. I have been a witness of mighty miracles. I have seen and felt the Healing and Enabling power of Christs sacred Atonement. I know that Eternal Life is Family Life. I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

My wonderful mom is a convert to the church. She shared with me countless of times the spirit that she felt as those two Elders taught her. As a young boy i wanted to feel that same "thing" my mother felt. I decided to open the Book of Mormon for myself and began to read. I knew that if that book was true than Joseph Smith truly saw God the Father and Jesus Christ and that he restored the fullness of Christ's doctrine to the earth through Christ himself and that the Church that I had been going to for my whole life, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, needed to be more than just a tradition in my life...but needed to be my life. So i read, i prayed, i read and prayed and then one night as i knelt in my quiet room in prayer God answered me through his spirit that this was all true. Immediately i felt a change in my being. the once depressed, shy, scared me...was no longer me. Over time i was able to realize and gain a testimony of the wonderful light of the Gospel. My heart was changed and from that day on it continues to become more converted. Now, of course my life isn't perfect...I have had plenty of mountains to climb and i know that there are plenty more to come still...but I now had and have a way bigger view of life and of all things pertaining to it. The Fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ hasn't made life perfect...its made it better. My purpose is to help others feel the same. Maybe it is the random stranger I talk to on a doorstep or my neighbor back home. My best friend who comes from a broken family or the family I have back home or my family that one day I will have of my own. My purpose is to help others receive the joy of the gospel...and in return I, myself, will receive that same gift from God. I am a Mormon because at a young age i decided to not rely upon man, and the internet of the ideas of the world...but ask the author of truth, our Eternal Father in Heaven. I will never deny nor ever could deny that answer.

How I live my faith

For almost 2 years i have had the amazing blessing to serve a Two-year mission in the Milwaukee Wisconsin Mission. I have had the sacred opportunity to bring the joyous news of this gospel into the hearts of Gods children here in Wisconsin. I wish I could share all the mighty miracles I have been blessed to be a part of. How I live my faith is through daily acts of obedience to my Father in Heaven. I have a testimony that God will always help if we just do what He has asked us to do. Living the Gospel is pretty black and white. we either are living it or we aren't. i know that i am very far from perfect, but through applying and using the Atonement of Jesus Christ...He will fill the gaps. but i must do my best. I live my faith by doing the simple small things that God has asked us all to do. I cant go a day without reading the scriptures...they truly have guided my life so much these past fast years of my life. I believe that a healthy daily study of the scriptures and personal prayer can help us overcome the darkest storms of life. I live my faith by growing in my knowledge of my Savior and then applying those things i do learn in my everyday life.

What is faith?

Bryce Harper-Smith
Faith is simply a Belief in something that compels us to act. Faith in Jesus Christ, however, can change who we are and who we can become. It can bring SO much divine power in our lives to overcome, be freed from sin, and give us strength. I know this is true because experiences i have had in my life! Show more Show less
