Hi I'm Nathan

I play instruments. I make jokes. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student, thinking about majoring in information systems or accounting. In my free time I like to listen to music, hang out with friends, play video games or do something fun with my family like go to dinner or watch a favorite t.v. show together. I enjoy all different kinds of music from electronic to classical. During high school, I played the double bass in our school's orchestra. During my freshman year of college, I got to play the baritone for the college marching band.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because the principles and teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints help me learn and grow and follow the example of Jesus Christ. I have been taught and gained a testimony of the plan of happiness that our Heavenly Father has created for us and the knowledge of this plan helps me have hope and a focus on more eternal things. As I live the principles of the gospel, I feel happy and free. My burdens and trials are eased. I was baptized when I was eight years old and have enjoyed the gift of the Holy Ghost to lead and guide me, to comfort me and to help me come to a knowledge of the truth.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith daily. I read from the scriptures each day to increase my knowledge of God. I try to live like our Savior Jesus Christ lived and treat everyone I come in contact with like a son or daughter of God. I pray daily to my Father in Heaven to receive guidance from him and to thank him for the many blessings that I've been given. I participate in Sunday worship each week and strive to keep the Sabbath day holy.
