Hi I'm Zach

I grew up in Kentucky, I play tuba, I'm serving a mission in the Sao Paulo Interlagos Brazil Mission, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am currently serving my mission for the church and I am in the California Anaheim Mission waiting for my visa to go to the Brazil São Paulo Interlagos Mission and I am willing to go wherever the Lord will send me on my mission! I love the Church and I am so grateful for the influence it has had in my life and for all the friends I have made here. I could and do call them my family because after all, we're all one big family in God. I have a big interest in puzzle solving and mostly in solving Rubik's Cubes because they're fun! I think so anyways. I look forward to being a Mathematics major when I finish my mission. Life is good!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that it is the true church of God on the Earth today. I probably would not be doing very good things right now without it due to the fact that I am constantly surrounded by sin and temptations at school and at work and even just in public in general. This church has made me the person that I am today and I wouldn't have it any other way. I am so thankful for all the blessings this church has provided me such as friends who care, a church family who always has my back, and a place to go when I'm feeling sad. This church has kept me on the straight and narrow path to God and I wouldn't rather be anywhere else. This is where I belong, and it's where everybody belongs. I believe in the Book of Mormon and I know that it is true. It has taught me many things and I am so grateful for it. This is truly God's church on the Earth today

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to service projects whenever they are organized and helping people in the community whenever help is needed. I try to do my best in everything that I do and help every one that I can. I was in charge of helping to organize some of these activities by being a part of the Youth Committee, which is a group of teenage kids who collaborate with adults in the area to have activities and fun things for the kids of the church. Generally we are able to get these activities put together quickly and they are always a blast. Every one can help and every one can go to these activities. I also live my faith by attending church every Sunday and by being a current full time missionary. I live my faith by being an example to my non-member friends and by sharing the gospel with them at appropriate times. They appreciate my good example and several times they have told me that they look up to me (both literally and figuratively due to the fact that I am taller than all of them). I live my faith by doing my best every day.
