Hi I'm Lydia Chloe Myers

I'm the definition of a theatre nerd and I am a Mormon

About Me

I'm am from all over the place. I was born in Indiana, we moved to Iowa, then moved to Mexico, then moved to Michigan, then almost moved back to Indiana but then moved back to Iowa a year later. Oh yeah, and I go to school in Idaho and am serving a mission in California. I'm a theatre and speech education major with a minor in TESOL at BYU-Idaho but when I get back from my mission I'm going to try to switch to a double major of theatre ed. and technical theatre. I. Love. Theatre. I love everything about theatre. While at school, I try to get into as many things as possible. I've been a stage electrician, a spot light operator, a stage hand, an assistant stage manager, a stage manager, and an actress, all within a year. I'm not the best at any of them, by all means, I just can't choose between them because I love them all. In fact, that's what I want to do with my life. I want to be amazing at every aspect of theatre so that when I'm trying to find a job, instead of look for on type of job, I can look for six different kinds. Really broadens my horizons. I plan on eventually going to grad school for Stage Management and then I will want to teach theatre at the college level. My fantasy is to either act on or stage manage for Saturday Night Live.

Why I am a Mormon

Why not?! I have been my whole life! My testimony has just reciently (within the last few years) been strengthened greatly and I don't know why anyone would want to live any other way. But to each their own, I guess.

How I live my faith

Well I am currently surving a mission and I have no idea what I'm doing. But I have faith that the Lord will help me and that I will be able to learn great things from this experience. Most importantly, I want to share the gospel with those around me so they can experience the joy I have felt from this gospel.
