Hi I'm Ching Chueh

I grew up in Taiwan. I went to BYU-Hawaii in 2009. I am now currently serving a mission in New York.

About Me

I like reading, listening to music, and be with my friends and family. Now my biggest goal every day is to share the gospel to as many people as I can. I'm now serving in New York New York North Mission, Mandarin Speaking. I'm not married yet obviously, but I'm engaged to a really nice boy who supports me to come on a mission. I'm really grateful that I did not need to choose between mission and marriage, because I can have both. One and half years can change a girl for eternity. It can bless countless precious lives. It's so worth it, isn't it? Serving a mission is a precious experience that I will cherish for eternity. I have learned so much on my mission, and I have met so many wonderful people on my mission. I won't have these precious experiences if I didn't come on a mission. Therefore, if you have a desire to serve, even just a little bit, go for it! You won't regret. Instead, you will be really glad you did.

Why I am a Mormon

My mom met the missionaries when I was 3 years old. I went to the church with my mom. My mom joined the church, and I was baptized at 8. As a child, I liked to go to church because I had a lot of friends there. I enjoyed going to church every Sunday. But as I grew older, I started to think is really church important to me? Does going to church make a difference in me? When I was 12 years old, I stopped attending church because I think I could have fun or rest on Sunday. Many members tried to convince me to go to church again, but failed. About 10 months later, a good friend of mine asked me to go to church with her, I said yes, I didn't know why, but I kept my promise. Since then, I started to attend church every week again. I started to participate more in the church. I could really feel the difference between having church and no church in my life. In junior high school, I started to really study the Book of Mormon. Till now, I have formed the habit of studying scriptures every day. I had experienced the time when I had no church and no scriptures in my life. Even only 10 months, it was enough for me to feel the difference. I know the gospel has blessed me so abundantly. It helps me understand the purpose of life. It brings me true happiness and lasting peace. Without the gospel, I think I would still wandering around trying to find the meaning of life. I'm grateful for all the blessings that Heavenly Father gives me. I know He knows and loves each one of us. I had really studied the Book of Mormon and prayed to find out that the church is true. I know The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only true and living church. I said this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I'm now preaching the gospel to everyone I can. This is the way now I show my love to our Lord and to everyone.
