Hi I'm Alicia

I'm an Aggie fan and love being with the people I love most. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am a college student who has tons of school spirit and loves cheering at all the football and basketball games! I love taking pictures of everyone and everything. Being out in the sun is a must and summer is my favorite. I am the daughter of the most incredible parents and have four siblings. I enjoy being with the people I love most, playing 4-square and riding my scooter around. I am preparing to serve a mission and can't wait to share the Gospel!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and have been taught the principles and doctrines of it my whole life. I always assumed it was true because my parents and leaders told me it was and I trusted them. I began gaining a testimony for myself when I began to sincerely study the scriptures-particulary the Book of Mormon and pray to my Heavenly Father. I remember the day I felt and recognized the Spirit testify to me that this Church is true. I was 12 and watched the Joseph Smith movie and at the end I knew with all my heart that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that the true Church had indeed been restored on the earth. My testimony continued to grow by continual study and prayer and by attending seminary. I know with all my heart that this Church is true and that it is led by a prophet of God. I know that Christ lives and that the atonement is real and by untilizing it, we can become clean and live with Him again along with our families. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and it testifies of Christ and we can become closer to Him by reading it. This testimony I have gives me so much happiness and joy. It truly makes me happy when I live the Gospel and this is another testimony to me that it is true. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am preparing to go on a mission and I cannot wait to share my testimony of this wonderful Gospel to others and dedicate my life to the Lord. I have been a home evening leader in my singles ward which involves planning activities for Monday nights. I have also been able to be an assistant at Girls Camp and spend a week with the young women in my ward. I was able to get to know them better while helping them become closer with Christ. I live my faith by being the best example I can to those around me by living high standards and sharing my testimony through my words and actions. My parents have taught me the importance of service and I strive to serve the people around me the best I can.
